The Performance Plus Story

Growing up in the rural Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts, Todd spent many hours and days in either of his mom's two private practice physical therapy clinics. Whether home sick from school or no babysitter available, Todd often roamed the clinic following his mother, talking with patients and playing with gym equipment. In high school and college, Todd continued to work as a physical therapy aide in the very clinics he grew up in. It was no surprise Todd chose to follow in his mother's footsteps and become a physical therapist himself. After graduation from college in 2005 and with the dream of one day opening a clinic for himself, Todd moved from the cold mountains of Western Massachusetts to the warm sunny beaches of San Diego and has worked for several different companies over his time on the west coast. Throughout this time, with time restraints and productivity requirements, Todd struggled to be able to provide the quality of care he knew his patients deserved. Todd felt patients were more than just a number and that in order to provide the time, empathy, passion and high-quality treatment they deserved starting his own private practice was the only option. In 2017, Performance Plus Physical Therapy was born!
