What it's like to work at Performance Plus PT:
I graduated from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2019 and have worked across a handful of settings — SNF, outpatient ortho, and home health. I've seen a lot of different workplace cultures along the way, and I can say with confidence that Performance Plus Physical Therapy stands out.
I was promoted to a Clinic Director role after two years working for this company — and honestly, I wouldn't have taken it if I didn't genuinely love coming to work here every day. What makes PPPT different starts with leadership. Todd, the owner, puts real energy into making sure his PTs feel seen and valued. He's open about the company's goals and challenges, which makes you feel like a true stakeholder in something bigger than just your caseload. The mission here is twofold — deliver quality care AND make patients actually look forward to coming in. The team culture backs that up. All four clinic directors have worked alongside each other at some point, and the PTs across our clinics are genuinely a fun group to be around. There's a real sense of camaraderie that I haven't found everywhere in my career.
On the practical side — we use Prompt EMR and it has been a game changer. Easily the best I've used in six years of practice. Documenting point of service is smooth, fast, and efficient.
If you're a PT who takes pride in your work and wants to feel that energy reciprocated by your colleagues — PPPT is a place worth seriously considering.

PT, DPT, Clinic Director — Otay Ranch
I started my journey with Performance Plus Physical Therapy as a student and was fortunate to join the team after graduation. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to grow within the company, and today I serve as the Clinic Director and one of the DPTs at our National City office.
What has kept me here is the people. The support, collaboration, and positive culture extend far beyond the clinic. Across all four locations, our staff genuinely work well together and maintain close relationships, creating a strong sense of teamwork and community. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've been given and proud to be part of a company that invests in both its patients and its team members.

PT, DPT, Pelvic Health Therapist
My name is Dhruvika and I have been working as a Physical Therapist in Performance Plus Physical Therapy's Otay Ranch location for the past eight months. My experience has been incredibly positive and rewarding. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and supported by the entire team. Over time, my coworkers have become like family, making each day enjoyable and fulfilling. One of the things I appreciate most about working here is the strong sense of teamwork. The exercise specialists, front desk staff, and therapists all work together as one team with the shared goal of providing the best care and experience for our patients. This collaborative environment makes the workplace both supportive and enjoyable. Another reason I enjoy working here is the leadership. Todd, our CEO, is genuinely kind, approachable, and supportive. His positive attitude, warm smile, and encouraging nature create an uplifting work environment. It is clear that he truly cares about his employees, and his leadership plays a significant role in making Performance Plus Physical Therapy such a wonderful place to work.
